One of my kids... 5yrs old. Collision with his brother at soft play today. Ended up down at A+E for a quick check.
Do you reckon this will clear for school on Monday?

Wow! What a beaut!
His eye and surrounding area will go through all the colours of the rainbow before that returns to normal again!
I hope he is ok 'cause that has got to hurt

It probably will go down quite quickly, even though it will look horrible for ages ... there's a lot of blood flowing down your forehead
However, a quick slice with a good kitchen knife will sort it quicker
Cheers,
Robin

We shouldn't really have been surprised... the twit broke his nose when he was just 1yr old on the fireplace. Blood everywhere, and a day later you would never have known it to look at him.
Just as well I had replaced the cream carpet with laminate or he would have had a swollen arse to boot !!

I'm away down south on until Wednesday, but when I left yesterday it had gone down a bit. Still couldn't open it more than a couple of mm, and thats after 48hrs+ ...
Was a lovely dark purple colour though. Meant to post it actually.
He's away to school today with a note to keep him off gym.
