Nice Shiner !!

Post by gorrie » Fri Apr 20, 2007 8:26 pm

One of my kids... 5yrs old. Collision with his brother at soft play today. Ended up down at A+E for a quick check.

Do you reckon this will clear for school on Monday?

Wow! What a beaut!

His eye and surrounding area will go through all the colours of the rainbow before that returns to normal again!

I hope he is ok 'cause that has got to hurt :blackeye

It probably will go down quite quickly, even though it will look horrible for ages ... there's a lot of blood flowing down your forehead :-)

However, a quick slice with a good kitchen knife will sort it quicker :-)

Cheers,
Robin

We shouldn't really have been surprised... the twit broke his nose when he was just 1yr old on the fireplace. Blood everywhere, and a day later you would never have known it to look at him.

Just as well I had replaced the cream carpet with laminate or he would have had a swollen arse to boot !!

I'm away down south on until Wednesday, but when I left yesterday it had gone down a bit. Still couldn't open it more than a couple of mm, and thats after 48hrs+ ...

Was a lovely dark purple colour though. Meant to post it actually.

He's away to school today with a note to keep him off gym.
