So I bought some Philips Extreme White H1 and H7 Bulbs and some Halfrauds +90% H3's thinking this would sort me out... Well that was until I went to fit them, I started with the driving lights as they were easily accessible, I started by masking the front of the car and painting the crash structure and all behind the grill satin black, then painted the casings of the driving lights. The HID bulbs were tiger sealed into the light units and I couldn't find the wiring with the bulb holder, I think the wiring was butchered when the HID's were fitted so I fitted the lights but didn't wire them up, I'll try and reinstate at a later date. Next was the headlights, the drivers main beam had just become unplugged so I tiger sealed the ballast in a new location and plugged that back in, all good! I now have 2 headlights, happy days!
Next was the full beam lights, I wanted rid of the HID's in this case as they seem to take too long to heat up once switched on and flashing the lights to let someone out was pointless as they didn't come on quick enough, so I fitted the Philips H7 bulbs as the bulb holders were still in place for these, phew! They're meant to be white light but they're really yellow next to the HID's, still they're functional so that was the main thing as far as I was concerned. I think they're pointing at the sky so need to get to an MOT Station to check them, unless it was the driving lights but something was pointing at the passing aircraft in the fog on the way home from North Weald. I hope to be able to see where I'm going come the darker nights and will look to reinstate the driving lights at some point. The rain put a stop to play today

Quite happy with progress As I managed to tidy up a few bits and bobs while I was in about the front end with my satin black rattle can lol, car is all together again with grill and lights back on crash structure and other plastics round the rad that I could get off were all freshened up.. I had hoped to clay, cut, polish and seal the paint today but the damn rain put an end to my plans so off to blitz the kitchen now and hoover the house before the wife gets home
