Only tip I'll give you is that don't go too extreme on what you cut back on, the more people deprive themselves of things they like the more excuses they seem to find to break the diet. Further, the smaller the steps you take to better health, the more likely you are to keep them going and there's less chance of the 'boom and bust' that you hear of people on Atkins losing 5 stone only to slap 6 stone on within 3 months of 'completing' the diet.
The other thing you'll soon realise is that it seems hard to cut some things out to begin with, but after as little time as a week, you might be wondering how you managed to fit them all in.
