Stayed at The Mcdonald highland resort, Aviemore last year and wasn't impressed at all. Looks a bit tired and run down in places and the staff attitude stinks!

Have to agree :thumbsdown but maybe I was just unlucky. Kenny's suggestion sounds good, some great roads.

It depends which hotel you stay in, they are all various 'old' hotels which have been re-furbished to varying degrees. The Highlands is probarbly the best..

Can't say I've ever noticed the staff to be anything other than friendly and helpfull.
Green Subaru Impreza Turbo, a 'classic'.

Silver Jeep Cherokee 2.5 TD, on SORN spec...

Black Disco 3, black van man spec...

Scott

I've stayed in the two Hotels below, both really good, if you use these ones you can have a great drive around lots of the best bits of Scotland.

we had New Year there once. Fabulous. Food was amazing, roads nearby are quality. Treated like family and made to feel really welcome.
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

I agree was ready to post something similar, although I did visit it some time ago.
