Andy

Is Georges Atom a 220hp? I believe yours is a 245.

Reason I ask is when I asked him why he was sliding around so much at the Hairpin when I was behind him, was that he was on T1R's. He said that the Atom was too light for 48R's. Funnily enough the knock down 48R's that I just bought from a S/C Atom owner were because he thought that they were not suitable.

What tyres will be supplied with your car? I was also passing him on the straights, which I doubt I will be doing when you get yours.

Typical Monaco F1 race... if it wasn't for the glamour and history, that would be the 1st circuit I would drop from the calendar.
I have no signature.

Don't understand that one... :?
All characters appearing in this post are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
Any references to laptimes, speed or driving on the public highway are purely for dramatic effect.

Scotsman Dario Franchitti has qualified 3rd.
Congratulations to Dario on winning the 91st Indy 500. Well worth the 3 hour rain delay.

My thoughts exactly - I'd have though a 'normal' road tyre would be worse. ACB10s might be good on the Atom.

Monaco: Lewis was entertaining for a while, rest of it was dull. Brundle's cool and knows his stuff but, until he takes an angle grinder to the tongue of The Cock, he'll never be "The Man".

Watched the Porsche Supercup and GP2 on Eurosport - Porsches were ok, GP2 was good - some carnage, lots of oversteer (no TC) and proper slicks so they could actually drive the cars hard.

Dario - first Scot since Jimmy Clark to win the 500. Hmm...I'd hardly put Dario in the same category as Clark but, nevertheless, he did well.

Sadly, you probably can't put today's Indy500 in the same category as yesteryear's either :( - not since the IRL/Champ split.

Still - well done Dario! Anyone know if there'll be highlights on terrestrial?

Yes I'll be getting the 245 and it will be booted with A048's. The t1r's would go off within 2 laps on the Atom, so George's car was really sliding about.

I'll also be getting the adjustable suspension though, which i'm told makes a huge difference for track work.

I'll also have the big brake kit on the front, so should be pretty rapid round the track. Might take a bit of setting up.

Was just thinking. Should have it in the next 2 months now! Awesome :D
