Sounds great, that'll be our next house plan. The new house (with no garage) looks like the plan for the next few years anyway.

I'm intrigued by these so called 'facilities' that keep popping up in posts. Are there dancing girls and private rooms at these facilities.

Well the purchase of the garageless house has fallen through. Developer rode to work on a horse and had cattle in his field so we told him to head back to the hills and keep his stinking house. (minus deposit  )

So new house WILL have a garage.   ...just need to find it first.

Seriously though, when your solicitor strongly advises you to pull out becasue he has had past experience with this mob then you dont ignore it.

Unless the solicitor wanted the house himself **... which is similar to what happened to us. Put an offer in for a fixed price cottage which was actually just over the asking price, and chased up a few days later to ask why we hadn't received an answer.

Turned out that the selling agent/solicitor had not actually passed our offer to their client as someone within the agency wanted to buy it !! Nothing that a bit of carfully chosen words didn't fix... "conflict of interest"..."Law society" etc...

** Not that this is a regular occurance I'm sure.

Good luck with the hunt.

Andy.
