gave myself a helluva fright on friday at knockhill

so after a 24 hour sulk

have decided to grow up and be a bit more constructive about improving my skills and learning what my car can do with me behind the wheel
so...plan to get myself along to track day/evening events where I can hopefully draw on the knowledge and experience of fellow SE'rs

... but getting to the point... have also booked Walshy Day for Thurs 14th June.
Any takers? Two places left from the looks of the website.
Cheers
Craig

John, I think July is out for me financially at the moment I'm afraid. Will need to wait until later in the year. Sorry.
Have fun!

Don't be! Walshy will put you at ease and then put you sideways, but there is so much run off you've nothing to hit - even on my mega spin that finally saw me come to a rest at the turning around point for the high speed bend, i and the car were fine........
Once he taught me to control powerslides my tyres were arse raped

Have Walshy's prices went up? I'm sure I paid £180 for a 4-person day.

Still damn good value for money though!
Craig, as Andy said, absolutely nothing to worry about. Nothing at all to hit and you'd need to be doing something crazy to end up on the grass. Excellent environment to learn what spinnyness feels like! You'll love every minute of it!

Once Walshy's had you spin 10..20..30 times the fear will be gone
Take some padding for your right knee though. Or is that just me?

No, No! not Bloke. It's pronounced Black, as in Plaque

It is a bit steep but I figured if I am going that far I might as well make the most of it. I probly couldnt justify going more than once.
Now just need to get the camera deal from Andy and I,m sorted.
