Post by Meenrod » Tue May 01, 2007 8:58 pm

Hi all,

Just wondered when the next KH event was and if anyone was planning on going? Would be good to meet some friendly faces!

At recent SIDC days Loti have outnumbered Scoobies by quite a margin, also an excellently run event.

Mmm.. sounds good, think I'll pop along. Although to be honest, the last time I was a KH (about 18 months ago) at a Hot Marques day I put my brand new S2 Elise 111s into the barrier after boiling the brakes. Cue £13k repair job...

This time I'll remember to come in now and again and let the brakes cool. Ahem.

Jeeze, can't believe you guys knew about me... how embarrassing! I sold the Elise to MMC and a guy on here (AiD I think) bought it. I've seen him kicking about Edinburgh in it a few times now too.

And as for the comment 'always has a guy in the pax seat...' Nuff said. Birds from now on!

I've moved from the complex to the new flats on Slateford Road next to the BP garage. You'll recognise the Exige as I've got an HiD kit on it, looks really mean in black!

I still have a flat in Hermand Street but I rent it out now, I live further along Slateford Road.

No, it wasn't my first time on track believe it or not. To be fair I was putting in some serious laps when I thought I'll stop and pick up my 'bro from the pits and head out again. I think the extra weight was the final straw, brakes bolied and off I went. Could have been a lot worse....

Where are you in Edinburgh, and what do you drive now?
