Hate them

My radiator blew big style last summer- coolant jetted everywhere from bonnet vent.

Was in middle of nowhere- all I had to wash it off the paintwork was a 2 litre bottle of lemonade.

Spent next 2 hours waiting on recovery and fighting clouds of the buggers. :D

I have had one fly into my crash helmet when my visor was up

The tailing motorists must have thought what is that nutter on the bike doing bashing his head with his hand

and with my visor down a bloody seagull got a bullseye right in the middle of my visor, just about bloody sh@t myself (just like the seagull had done)

Thought that a wasp in the car was my best excuse for a poor qualifying time on one occasion when racing - until it was pointed out that covered in 2 layers of Nomex from head to toe and in a full face helmet, I should have been just getting on with driving

Do wasps actually have a purpose?? and where do they go in the winter?? can't we just kill them all while they sleep or hibernate or whatever?!?!

I used to get stung almost daily when I was a wee boy.... still bitter about it!!!
