Needless to say the Men and Motors show was entirely different and only for BTC coverage :-(

So...where's that bittorrent then??

Campbell it is as Paul suggested "Motors TV" on the Sports Section in Sky. I have it recorded on Sky + if you were nearer you could pop over and watch it - just a 30 min program. I dont think there is any way you can copy it off Sky +.

Funnily enough, Cameron and I have been musing over this for some months, as he has recorded some classic movies for me and I hoped there was a way to use the SCART output of the Sky+ box to input to a PC TV card...however can't find that many with SCART inputs, although I think Cameron now has an appropriate cable converter to USB or summat...if we have any joy, I will publish the procedure :-)

It's a total pain as far as I'm aware - There's a USB port on the front, but thats for 'engineer updates' - The data is saved in some weird format, and anything not free-to-air is encrypted...

There's a freeware tool to get the free-to-air stuff from the h/d - See here: http://neildoh.org/phpBB/index.php?sid= ... 30c179aaa1

Otherwise the best way is to buy a standalone dvd recorder (or better - one with a PVR), and copy the feed from the TV...

I've got a sky+ box hooked up to a dvd recorder.

Don't fancy doing 100s of copies but I could easy do one if someone then wanted to bit torrent it or whatever!??!

Dave.

Part Two of the show

http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?doc ... 8&q=lotrdc

Snetterton will be recorded as well. If you know of anyone who would like to be a media sponsor, please contact press@lotrdc.com. Unless we find funding for the rest of the season, it won't be filmed :( You'll will either have to come and watch or come and race :)

Cheers

Graham
