Abso-bladdy-lootly!
The last SE Golf outing was on my Stagger at Machrihanish in 2003, plenty golf and plenty else nonsense that I won't get into here
Anyways, I'm sure we could put something together...my only challenge is limited passes with impending arrival of Junior 2 in 4 weeks approx ...

My Dad has some (considerable) experience of many Scottish courses [shameless plug -
http://www.donaldfordgolf.com/] so we could consult with him when it's time to identify a venue
He's a member at Carnoustie so that in itself may have some scope...and three cracking courses to choose from there for starters, reasonably "central" within Scotland, etc...
Anyway, take it to Meets as you say!

For a 'romantic' weekend in great scenery I would recommend
kilcamb lodge in Ardnamurchan.
Or another favourite in the highlands is
craigellachie hotel on Speyside, plenty of nice malt whiskies.
Green Subaru Impreza Turbo, a 'classic'.
Silver Jeep Cherokee 2.5 TD, on SORN spec...
Black Disco 3, black van man spec...

That bit passed Strontian is a bit. Watch out for random animals that decide to fall asleep on the road. My favourite bit is the drive from the ferry to strontian! Its awesome!

Yea ferry to Strontian is great bit of road. I've never driven it in the Elise though, usuall the Jeep and usually with the canoe on the roof, heading to Acharacle or Lochaline direction
How is access onto the ferry? It's often a big bump, even in the Jeep, do they put planks of wood down for you?

Not wishing to worry you, but it was while staying at Links and Marine Hotels in Brora that Lisa and I got engaged. Although I'd planned it out about 4 months earlier so you are pretty safe really
Great setting nonetheless...the west coast mountains of Sutherland are less than an hour away and it's a great drive to get to them!
