Jim must be cray-z busy at the moment - his exhausts are the talk of the town on most Loti forums. Glad to see good peeps getting good buisness IMO
Jim, if you're listening, feel free to use my car as for testing as an S1 mule
Dezzy - hope you enjoy

Jim finished my 7x16" 2bular with extended tailpipes on Wednesday, it arrived at Dan's on Thursday, Dan fitted it while doing my service and I picked it up today (well, yesterday, as it's now after midnight).
It is absolutely perfect. I love the look of the tailpipes and the sound is fantastic. Exactly what I was looking for: no drone at all, can still hear my music and have conversation with passenger, but it sounds great too. Nice and loud when I want it to be. Throaty with a few pops here and there. Nice and burbly when idling. Makes a lovely noise when you hear it echoing off buildings or through tunnels.
Big

for Jim. I highly recommend this exhaust over any of the other ones I've heard.
Cheers,
D
P.S. Dan also commented that the 2bular weighed a fraction of the weight of the standard heavy lump of an exhaust.

Indeed it is! Must stop spending or I'll never get that bloody mortgage . . .

But the car's much more fun to spend money on!
Kenny, let me know if you want to hear mine before yours arrives in case you want to change your mind

I can pop over this evening, or tomorrow afternoon if you want.

Good fun, thanks. Went via Hawick, Selkirk and Peebles. A wee bit damp in places where the cloud had gathered between the hills, but generally pretty dry and grippy with my new tyres.
On my way to Peebles, this @sshole in an Arnold Clark hire van decided he didn't want to let me by and was driving like an absolute lunatic to try and do speeds which would prevent me from overtaking. The van was almost tipping over at points and he ended up half into the verge at the side of the road at one point. Sprayed my car with grit and crap from the side of the road. Tw@t. I really don't understand these people . . . it was as if it was some kind of challenge to prove he could drive a van faster than a Lotus. What he doesn't realise is that the only reason I let him go ahead and didn't bother overtaking him is because I feared for my life the way he was driving and didn't want to go anywhere near him and end up with a van on my head.

I have had a change of heart, I know its just going to be too quiet. Have emailed Jim to ask that I change my order to the Ultra.
Will just swap it for trackdays.
