I found myself a bit bored tonight... and remembered that I had some spare sticky black vinyl in the garage. Originally, I was just having a mess around... but now I'm in 2 minds whether to continue it or not...
Whats your thoughts? Rip it off and be happy I filled my time, or make some plans for the weekend to finish the job?
Andy.

Total gash. Why would you think black checkers would look good on a yellow car?
edit: I would do it up and over the car; if you dont like it, its easy enough to peel off. I like it anyway!

The best thing about the elise is that you can do stuff like this to the car, and it doesnt look completly tat unless its blue with white stripes.
If you like it, do it, it comes off again if you change your mind

It's prob too late to suggest this, but one chequered stripe up the centre could look
As it is, keep going, should look good I reckon.

Doesnt have to be the same each side... the "eco" exige was different and that looked pretty reasonable....
Keep it unique.. I like it...

lol @ Thinforth...
I'm gonna wheel it out the garage at lunchtime for a look in some relative daylight instead of under flourescent garage lighting. If it looks cack then I'll rip it off.
I actually started off with a solid black stripe with yellow/black piped up the side which I thought looked smarter... but the damn car is too curvy for a teapot like me to be able to do it correctly.
Dom... I had a single chequered thing up my Fisher Fury so wouldn't want the same again. see below:-
