Night shift is bad, I get bored....
Was have been anoyed at the lack of any lighting in the heater control area (I don't know why, it just annoyed me) and so:
I couldn't find any smaller LEDs in orange so I just glued them in, the brightness is adustable too. I need to get out alot more...
I'll take more photos when it's wired in and dark.

No, I just need a proper project....
I have an active imagination and lots of tools, this is a bad thing as my car keeps coming to bits, it's only a matter of time before I can't put it back together...
Rich
PS: If anyone likes the look of this I have enough bits for another one.

Rich,
I've been toying with the idea of doing something similar in my S2 (but I'm a lazy git)
Would need to be blue LED's for me but would be interesting in how you did it.
Cheers

Easy really, just 2 2.5v LEDs in series and a little 100k ohm pot. Blue are easy to get (Orange are not!) but I would watch out for the high intensity ones they are a bit dazzling, I thnk I have some somewhere I'll have a look...
Edit: I have green and red LEDs, but try

(LEDs were £1.10 for 10 and the pots are 15p each, maplins online is your friend)[/url]

Anything to stop me buying DVDs and internet shopping!
Why, do you fancy some nice Neons?
Saw somewhere someone had changed the LEDs in his Stack for blue, but how about red or green or even purple?
Bling Bling!
I'll even clean up my

from the bottom of your car!

Ninja,
Cold cathode neons is what you need, 12v and plastic IIRC, and best of all 40% off at the moment!

Aww go on, then I can post it on SEC*CK, sit back, watch and eat popcorn.
For £6 I might just have to buy a couple and try it out...
Now you have me spending more cash!

When I'm supposed to be saving for my S2 shocks too.
