Didn't find the niece in the loft...

But I did get some forms from the ins co today to describe the accident, hope this doesn't mean he is contesting :(

Oh and if you phoned Carphone Warehouse today you are a stupid ignorant loony who shouldn't be allowed a phone.

This sounds routine...you'll know if and when he is contesting it!

Best thing you can do is provide diagrams and a second by second description of the event. Try to describe accelerations/braking skidding durations etc! By the end of it there'll be so much accurate detail that they simply wont doubt your facts. I think this is crucial if you dont use any of your witnesses.....cough

Thanks all, I'll sit down tonight and type up a moment by moment account with diagrams. They will be inundated with detail, I can do that! :lol: I can even give them my first words after the impact if that would help... :lol:

Rich

Hope you get it sorted. I had a similar problem a few years ago when a white van man ran into the side of me. Thought it was straightfoward that it would be his fault but he must have made up some funny story. Despite very detailed descriptions and photos of the route just prior the accident which helped show that he must have been travelling far faster than the 30mph limit the thing ended up a 50/50 so affecting my insurance. It didn't actually make any difference to my car premiums but doubled my motorbike premiums :twisted: Even the photos showing where he had run into my driver's door, so proving he had hit me and not the other way around, made no difference. I am not sure how much notice insurance companies pay to the accident reports they get from drivers. Glad you had a camera though and surely the photos of his dirty windscreen will have some bearing on the outcome.

Hope it works out okay - Iain

Nope, not as yet, his ins co is dragging its heels (Churchill)

I do however have a nice man with a n accident management company standing by if they admit liability. Which my ins co (Bell) say they are pressing for, Will hassle them again tomorrow.

I have been told that I may have to put up with an S2 or an S2 Exige though during the repairs :roll:

<BG>

They have accepted full liability!

Now trying to get hold of Russ Treasure (Lambogenie) to sort me a repair and hire car. Apparently I might have to make do with an S2 Exige :roll:

Might have to claim for my embarrassment :lol:

Make sure you are nice and gentle with their Exige. :wink:

Be sure and give it back with plenty of tred on the tyres, life in the clutch, meat on the pads. :twisted:
