Anyone tried 195's on the standard S2 rimms?

Post by Andy G » Tue Mar 20, 2007 1:36 pm

Hi Guys

Nics needs replacement tyres soon (as the t1r's were finished by myself and a certain Welsh lunatic).

Dont want to pay for AD07's from MMC (i've finished financing their new showroom at last and don't want to spend any of Nic's money there either!), and was thinking about R888's but think they only make 195 fronts?

Has anyone tried running 195's onthe standard S2 rimms?

cheers

I ran the wider fronts with T1's and to be honest I think it exagerated the sidewall problems that toyo have.

Why not buy AD07's from somewhere else - think Dezzy is looking in to it some were on here

I'm getting AD07s fitted by F1 in Newcastle after getting my car serviced at Dan's next week: http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... 8894#78894

£437.76 including fitting and balancing (basically the MMC price minus the discount, but that difference more than covers fitting/balancing/transport costs compared to ordering the tyres from MMC).

Andy

I have been using 195 T1Rs on the front for a couple of years now, now problems, so I am sure the R888 would fit aswell.

It's not recommended to fit sticky 195s to the standard front rims so I'd avoid it if I were you.
