Sunday evening drive to Largs and back was hellish aquaplaneing every where, could not see where I was going with the crappy Lotus headlamps, and lost the front number plate.
Took Monday off work went down to the Lakes did 350 miles of sheer motoring joy in bright sunshine and dry roads - yippee

I had to drive down the M90 from Abernyte last night in the most awful conditions too

However I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of aquaplaning I experienced, I had the outside lane all to my self as everyone semed to want to crawl along, and even the river that flows over both lanes just north of the Cramond Brig failed to unsettle Ellopa

Not what I was expecting at all

The drainage on the M90 just after/before Cramond Brig is dangerous IMHO. On the north bound side, everyone is dragging up that hill and so it's only natural for the speed to creep up once you've crested it - only to discover lakes of water at 80+ ... accident inevitable
Katie and I just got home from Engerland in time for the rain to start, but as we spent all night in the kitchen doing her statistics home work, we didn't notice it
Cheers,
Robin
