I wouldn't go near it with current Elise pricing where it is. If it hits double figures you are looking at at least 50% more in repairs. You could get a mint one for that surely.
Why doesn't your work chum go for a tidy S1 - £7k and upwards (if your lucky) - I wouldn't be vaguely interested in this unless i knew exactly what had happened and read the inspection report. Otherwise it could be blank cheque season.
