A real shame!
Don't think so, 275s seem to be advertised at mid £30ks 2nd hand.
They hold there value, price for a 300 bhp Atom new is around 38k. More power, less weight, IU know which one I would go for, not that I will ever have that money.
Does look good though.

As a 340r owner, this new circuit car is not floating my boat!! The styling is bland, note how they have to resort to a fancy paint job to make it stand out!
I would also have major concerns as to the choice of engine they are using, It is still to peaky to be a sensible track engine, and still has top end reliablity issues when subjected to track day use. I know, as I have been there with my 111r.
However they will not have to address the fact that they cannot supply windscreens after 5 years ( A 340r problem!) as it doesnt have one!
I will reserve final opinion till I see the car in the flesh next week at the Geneva motor show. It will be interesting to compare it to the new KTM, which not only looks better but is supposed to be a lot cheaper!

This is way overpriced, the KTM holds my interest far more as a Caterham owner, and Atom lover

Ive read that they (KTM) have already sold the first build allocation of 100. Although it goes on to talk about the possibility of a 300!
Id still rather have an atom though! Cant beat a British built sports car imho!

That's what I thought. Imagine it without the stripes and it looks a bit boxy.
For me (taking a step from financial reality for a moment!

) the Atom would receive my chequebook's attention

I'm surprised to see that despite the carbon fibre chasis it still weighs 700 kilos!

Can't imagine the VW mechanicals are lightweight!
Nice to have another option though, and I think seeing one on the road would be interesting........and hopefully on track with the Atom!

the atom is great
but how does it drive?
the first generations of it were reported as being unsettling to drive?
have they sorted it with the later ones?
id bet that this 2-eleven is superb to drive!

Seemed to be going very well indeed on Sunday, very well balanced and predictable under breaking. Just been specing a car for myself, for future reference of course!

A good bit cheaper than the CC and in my spec in proper hands probably quicker!
