Are these any good?

Need something bigger than a 307 that we currently have.
Need to be at least a hatch to accomodate the dog.

Mate,
Uncle has one from new, and it is as solidly built as they come, not a rattle anywhere and that 2.2ctdi is incredibly economical and quiet.
DVD player in the roof, wireless headphones for the kids, purfect family car, but perhaps you dont need something quite so big yet....!
Can vouch for Morrison motors, used to be a client of ours at Mercedes, buys in some decent cars.

We had a A Class Merc that Em hated. Felt it was going to topple in the wind so trying to avoid that.
Yeuch... not a fan of these things tbh....
but Ryann's brother is on his 2nd one now - for the wife of course - and they love them lots!! They've never had any probs with them and keep trying to convince me to get one too.....
Apparently a normal car wasn't big enough now that they have 2 small kids...

If you are going to go for a soft roader then budget for an extra set of wheels and winter/snow tyres as it will come with normal tyres which will be total pap in the snow and slush we get up here.
i've seen a RAV4 on proper mud tyres and asides from clearance issues it was actually quite capable in the silly stuff
Also see if you can screw a towbar on it incase of further changes of mind on the toy front.

Dave, you would not believe how much stuff one kid takes up.DDtB wrote:Yeuch... not a fan of these things tbh....

We took Matilda to Dundee on Sat. By the time you throw in your bags, travel cot, dog etc there was no room for anything else.
