Well, i havent even left yet, and just got word from Ed that Tom has broken his car at the Walshy day. He's some boy

Off to get tools after work, to take to them to sort it.

I'm fckin' knackered!

Well over 1000 miles in 2 days.
Walshy day was superb, 30 sec and one corner with Walshy in the car and he announced "you are a huge accident waiting to happen" After that things got better including a 105 tuts spin, which was fairly spectacular apparently, I had my eyes shut so wouldn't know.

Cadwell was great, so glad we got a couple of hours of dry track, such a fun circuit definitely going back.

Drive home wasnt much fun, pishing rain, zero visibilty and struggling to stay awake. Made it back in one piece though. :D

Did he say why?? I'm thinking he's probably going to say the same to me when we go down at the end of March! Can't wait! :D

Of course, he explains everything very well. Short story is I was being far too aggressive with the steering.

Glad I had done trackdays first before doing the Walshy day, I think I might have come away over confident about going on track had I started with that. Despite 20 odd trackdays you suddenly find out you are average at best. Amazing the improvement you see over the day and found I was using a lot of the lessons learned at Cadwell.

Agreed. I did the same thing and think that's the best way to do it.
So are you still an accident waiting to happen and therefore someone to steer clear of on track? <BG>

Me knackered too now. :(

Really enjoyed the track, for some reason I thought I wouldn't like it but it was pretty damn good. 8) Awesome in the dry. :D

Huge airfield with nothing to hit I was able to be a bit wild, at Cadwell with the armco just a few feet away I had the sensible head back on

Ed would have been faster if he had managed to complete a full lap without a spin

On Walshy's sprint course I beat Ed's time by over 2 secs

You'll be needing a stiff drink after that then
