Can I suggest "Midnight" by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers as the official SE song?

Great driving track, makes you feel all is well with world and the lyrics are quite apt, particularly the chorus "we are the lotus kids, better take note of this" and lines like "Resonating in the shape of things to come
Never waiting when I know there's only one"

Agreed. Saw them a couple of years back and was really disappointed.

Utter tosh. What you mean is that their current albums are not to your taste; that does not make them a crap band.

I was not a fan of By the Way, but I love their earlier, and more recent stuff. I think Stadium Arcadium is a great album.

So sayers of, "they used to be good, now they're crap." What period over the band's 20-odd year history was your favourite, or have you got 1 album only and base your views on radio play? If its the latter, your views are far too subjective to carry any weight.

It's an opinion, you obviously like them while G doesn't so neither of you are right or wrong.

I personally own none of their albums but I've seen them live, know some old and some new and I don't like the new stuff and that's my opinion on them so I agree with G.
