If it's been sold by MMC the Reg number will be enough - Ask to speak to either Graeme or Pauline and let them know that your a SE member.
Had it been a bit closer I woudl have came with for a looksee.
Cheers

i've phoned them and they said that they didin't have the reg no on file but it could have been a private plate. i've phoned back with the chassis no and still no joy
i've tried glasgow, edinburh and a murray motors in sterling and none of them have any record of it.
the stamp in the service books was green murray written large motors slightly smaller underneath and i couldn't really make out anything under that... sound familiar?

Actualy it would be worth while getting in touch with Gordon about his. I have known low mileage/unused elises causing untold problems when the new owner starts to use it the way the designer intended.
Cheers

Thats a fair shout. Known, very well maintained car, with suspension sorted and no problems.
Id rather buy a car thats historied than a lower mile unknown.

What is the name of the garage near Peterhead, as it is just a few miles from me?
I could turn up in 120,000 mile N1 TUT, and show them what a working Elise looks like.

Is that 'working' as in 'working girl'?
In which case, N1 would have to be of the Abz Harbour variety

I'm sure the last 3 numbers of Gils reg was MNE as it was previously confused with mine by Robin and Campbell.
