Sorry, i cant believe its not in response to a particular threat.
Cant see why they would put that many police officers to these places without there being a threat directed to these facilities.

they have guns - and are authorised to shoot to kill :shock:

The terminal at Bacton in Norfolk has been guarded ( :wink: ) for years, parentals live nearby (also its near to one of those golf ball radar things). Its a prime target though as services most of the south east for gas. Sizewell A and B down the road would be a far more interesting explosion.
