I didn't watch that. But 2 months isn't a lot of time to spread the cost? Maybe on a 12month contract these bad boys will be about £150 and perhaps free in the not too distant future?GregR wrote:On the clip I say of the unveiling Ross, the price was on the basis of a 2 months 'subscription' - I thought that was line rental and hence the subsidised price?

us price is $600 so expect little change from £400.
This address the current concerns about product integartion in the MP3 market, but the phone won't support 3G currently.
Remains to be seen where this goes. Amazed Apple didn't bring out a proper video player rather than show casing a product that is 8-10 months away.
Touh screen players are arriving now though, with some sweet products having hit my desk this week. Spent about 5 minutes trying to get one to work till it dawned on me its touch screen....to my defence its tiny and a Korean demo so no English info with it

if u r looking for something fancy... DONT go for a PDA-phone! they arent stable yet. they crash on an avg once a month... and u looooose ALL ur data! (HP is famous for that). but if u get used to a PDA phone, u'll miss it forever when u start using symbian OS like nokia and sony ericsson etc.
i-phone sounds like an interesting product. to be honest i would just wait until i read a few USER reviews. but if the phone is like what apple has promised (the next gadget which will change technology (previous was the invention of the mouse), then all i can say is... i-phone it is... my next phone!)
if u r looking for exclusivity... check out the VIRTU. (they r premium phones built by nokia) +/- 15k
basic guidlines...
ease of use - nokia
style - sony ericsson
low on budget - motorola
most others r crap!
advantage of PDA phones... u can have every thing built in starting from phone, outlook, excel, powerpoint, GPS, games, TV and basically almost everything u can on a computer
