5th gear

Post by Rich H » Tue Dec 19, 2006 9:33 am

Yes I know it's bollocks, but did anyone see it last night? That trike thing looked awesome! Tiff obviously enjoyed it in the wet.

But there is also some good news, the series has finished and will hopefully have a revamp (And a couple of mercy killings!) before next season.

I still cannot understand what has happened to VBH. She used to be quite knowledgeable (or the script writers used to make her look that way!) Last nights technical VBH comment "ohh the Merc has big alloys" WTF!!!

As for the 3 wheel thing....they told you absolutely sweet FA about it!
How can a program be so devoid of content and miss the mark so badly!

The researchers and script writers should go back to Caravan Monthly where some sort of incendiary device should be left.

The merc bit was awful, VBH sounding like an asthmatic Mutley with a 60 a day fag habit, doing, wooohhooo, yet more donuts

Tiffany: "With only one rear wheel the back steps out really easily"

Bugger me, who'd have thunk it. Thanks for that in depth piece of journalism Tiff.

I remembered it was on and turned over to see some guy with VBH doing donuts in a Merc . My viewing lasted 10 seconds .

I had almost starting to enjoy getting annoyed by the show :?

As said above....what has happened to VBH and Tiff? They have lowered themselves to the level of Lovejoy and the other slipper boys.

Obviously the directive was...."the show is all about entertainment for the tabloid reading masses, it's not about cars per se".

The trouble is, it succeeded at neither.

Let's hope it won't be back in that guise again.

never really watched it as i was working on the laptop, but it was on in the background...

Is it just me, or is the show so commercialised that it is allowing the manufacturers to determine what is the car of the year by inviting them to a bidding war to punt a car? OR is it that they make so much from people who think they can text the show at 2 quid a time in the hope that they win a car?

TBH, VBH and Tiff dont seem that interested anymore.

The thing that really annoyed me was the competition winner in that mondeo! AAAARRRGGHHH!!! They are bottling up this sh1te and manufacturing clone presenters who cant talk in one sentence without popping in an so called witty comparison!!!

Also - shouldn't it be called "6th Gear" in this day and age?

"Crunching into Reverse" doesn't have the same ring to it though
