40k!!!
wtf!!!
just shows how much nonsense can come out sometimes!
ok, it would be ace to have one, but for the money u can have an exige with near enuff the same driving experience really.
and if u wanted something more "radical" theres plenty of more extreme options.
money always talks - and im afraid thats too expensive :S
great 2nd hand buy tho!!

Where did you see it was £40k?
There's nothing on the Lotus site and I thought that stuff about the CC has been there for a while.

really hope its cheaper, coz id love to see lotus take the circuit car market by storm, as they should!
forget F1 - trackdays are the new way to reach target customers...
i.e. the track car is the focused extreme version of my elise/exige
and the using toyota engines (toyota brand in f1 is good for this) and tweaking them for lotus cars enhances that

Think I will be sticking to the 340r for a long time now, if the new "replacement" is going to cost as much as that. Anyway I dont trust the toyota engine anyway

Paul,
What happened to your 340r at Oulton, everything alright? Just the windscreen?
