Eliseparts do free delivery and if you phone and ask they can generally get them out same day. Still got to get them fitted obviously.

Gerg,

End of supply?!! Stopped making them!??

Should I be ordering new rears to make sure I can still get them? Good few miles left on them and always keen to put expense off but would rather have them in the garage for a while than find myself with fairly new fronts and dead rears which I can’t replace.

Lotus are now recommending the C.drive or something like that, still Yokohama. However for a 2000pony nutter barsteward mobile surely the correct tyre must be 888 or 048 ...

Paul

I am just about to put the Standard Elise indicator and wiper stalks on eBay.

Yours for around a tenner each if you would like them.

Read that in Evo too - they were described as road only (or words to that effect) though.

Glad to see that you can now leave your shed at home

:D

The original owner may have removed the rubber mats themselves. If it has been to the dealers it should have black fibre/felt mats secured by 2 bonded ali big headed flat screws. If it is anything like the job done by MMC on my car, the ali footwell will look like someone has switched on an angle grinder then dropped it into the footwell before switching it off after 30 seconds.

Worthwhile weight saving, and as the top is nearly always off, I can go back to my early days, when in your driving test, you had to use hand signals for turning. One reason of course was that either you had no indicators, or they were the semaphore type ones that used to stick.

Anybody on here remember how you signalled that you were turning left?
