I've spoke to calum about this - personally, I'd leave the car somewhere (in a safe place / garage)
Fly home and drive back out towing a trailer ......

I've been on trips where recovery has been required (both broke down on the motorway) and breakdown cover has been very handy.

Booked a sh*t box to drive around the Nurburgring on the Sunday morning. If anyone wants some cheap laps, I am sure you could rent it after us, let me know and I will tell the organizers. (think its an old BMW)

Did they mention if the ring is open for tourist laps? Assume it must be if they let the rental on?

I believe that it's supposed to be open on Sunday for tourist laps with the "Official" opening the following weekend.

Think I'll book annual cover with AA this year then as few trips planned, cheers!

Your cost will come down with the V6, I may call and upgrade as well.
