You might want to unplug an ABS sensor when tracking. We run ours for 5+ years with the ABS light no (plugged back on for MOTs) as the ABS was terrible especially in the wet. It would kick in on a road with the tiniest amount of gravel / loose material, and in the snow was absolutely laughable.
The front passenger side sensor was easy to locate and unplug without raising the car or removing a wheel so you can try it on track first and leave it if it's ok..

Thanks for the advice re the ABS. I had heard about this and spoke to CMC who said he could add a kill switch under the front access panel. Will give it a go at Knockhill and see how I get on.
Also heard a few others have upgraded to the 4 way ABS from the Elise.
