Meh, it's just stuff. She probably feels embarrassed/upset/stupid . Give her a hug.

I have sensors and a camera in the evora and nothing in the fastra.

I often find myself reversing towards things in the astra wondering when the beeps will start.............
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I hate reversing as my neck aches due to the back op, particularly in the Elise as rear vision is crap, especially with the roof on.

Id normally be raging at this sort of thing,

However, recently I managed to reverse into Claire's car in our driveway scraping both cars, I was really annoyed and then Claire pointed out if she had done it id have gone mental.

Anyway, long and short of the story - its a stupid accident, we are all capable of making them happen. just chill out, tell her its OK and that you will sort it out.

I would have thought that you would have more than enough wing mirrors by now that you would not need to turn around to reverse

My wife recently backed into a bollard in my focus. (Which doesn't have sensors)

Her excuse - she forgot she was in my car! (Her CRV does)

Thankfully it's old and I don't care. :blackeye

Fixed that for you.

My work car park is as tight as a ducks bottom to get in and out of. So the sensors are permanently going off which is why I've now trained myself to ignore them. Downside is I've lightly scraped both sides which thankfully came out with some sandpaper and G3 compound.

I got home late when I was living in Edinburgh and left my GTR across the entrance to our driveway.

Remember the wife saying goodbye the next morning and thinking "its bizarre she hasn't asked me to move the Gtr".

Ran to the door with my key just in time to see her reverse her 7 series in to it.

If Verian managed to do that then I think it would deserve a punishment, and she would have to take over the gardening, house keeping, cooking, ironing, dog walking, car washing, shopping, house painting, and other trivial tasks.

oh no... sorry to read this.

mind you... it did remind me of the day i drove my rather new S1 s160 from London to Aberdeen to visit my folks. Then my sister reversed her car into while parked on my parents drive way :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :? :?

Argh came to mind. No parking sensors back then in 2003ish

Deary me Mark. Deep breath.

Lisa ran the Skoda down our garden wall recently. Result was several fresh panels of paint and some older dings fixed. Silver lining.

A van reversed over the front of my Elise in my absence years ago. I found him but flat denial. Never got it fixed.

I famously reversed the Evora into a bollard. Despite an excellent rear view cam. Which I hadn't bothered to look in (prefer the wing mirrors for reversing...doh)

Hmmmmm .... I guess these things happen. Very frustrating indeed. My wife had a really minor scuff in her car recently that she claimed on her own car insurance. I get annoyed as my insurance now goes up £30 when she is added as a named driver to my policy ...... in the context of your post I probably should not be that bothered  (mental note be nicer to wife  ).
