I would agree for open road driving but in stop start traffic in town I switch it off to reduce the higher tick over speed and more sensitive throttle response.

Higher tick over speed? Never noticed the difference with it on or off. Probably because I switch it on immediately. More sensitive throttle response in town is easier for me...

Curious. Sport mode makes zero difference to my idle. Changes throttle response etc but not idle.

So who's is broken then ?!?! lol

Select sport mode and my idle speed increases too, wonder if it's only on later SR models ?

Mine idles same regardless of mode. Air con may sometimes lift the idle a touch but not to 1k rpm.

Mine isn't SR,15 plate NA. It definitely ticks over at 1k or above when it's in Sport.Makes sitting at traffic lights a bit chavvy in Sport mode

Seconded.

Scotsdaveed - Leather all over the sill and on the back seats means premium pack. Depending on build date it might also have heated seats. Think 11 plate cars usually do.
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

Cheers Martin, I just assumed that was normal. I thought the premium back was just a leather trim in the center of the rear seats and dash.

Can the TPMS be retro fitted by just plugging the module in to the boot (I know the valves need installed in the wheels) or does it need enabled in the ECU like the cruise control?

Picked the Evora up tonight. What a car!

Fast, comfortable and refined. The wee one loves it too even though she didn't want to get rid of the Elise.
