Lotus mileage in the last year
Really embarrassingly low mileage for me - around 4.5k
. But then I don't use it for commuting or work, so they are all quality fun miles for the sheer hell of it. The Exige also has to compete with lots of other weekend toys when the weather is good and there is no way of carrying an 18ft sea kayak on the roof
. Planning on a Ring trip in 07 and possibly Le Mans too, so mileage will be higher next year.

UJI has 65k miles on her now.
Bought new in July 1999, probably had 30k on her within two years, what a ball we had!! 2 Stelvios had a lot to do with that of course.
Then started to get sensible etc and the average has tumbled. Probably put 3k on between last two insurance renewals, hence now on 5k limited mileage policy to save a few pennies to donate into the nappy fund.
Interesting, I was just correlating this with the other thread re: new owner's woes after just a few days...I accept that I had my share of niggles with my wee S1 but the worst I can ever recall was a broken boot release. Which MMC dealt with on the day after inviting me to bring the car straight in. Other things are really just wear n tear, and after 65k miles I think I have been very lucky.
I don't any longer recommend the car to anyone as a daily driver commuter vehicle though, there is just a wee bit too much risk of 'em being off the road when you need to depend upon it most I think...
