Remember there is always the Edinburgh Park or the South Gyle train station if you want to get into the centre of town.
Edinburgh park one if just a couple of minutes walk. Can always pop into see the local gypsy's to see wher all our taxes are going and to pick up some lucky white heather for the elise's grill

£28 in taxi fares because they did not have a courtesy car available
I may present them with the bill

Would this happen at a BMW or a Lexus dealer? I don't think so. Add to the very large pile named 'reasons for never taking your car anywhere near MMC service department'

Its a shambles, not even a courtesy shuttle
I've taken to running back from there.
Running through Sighthill seems to improve my pace slightly

What happened to the shuttle?
It used to drop you off and pick you back up again from one of the big squares behind Princess Street - Probably one of the many things we had JMjr to thank for.

What happened to the shuttle?
If there is one the certainly didn't tell me!
anyways, I don't care right now as they have just called to say she is ready

so back to Stockbridge with my 7 and then another taxi journey to Sighthill.
fingers crossed everything is sorted!

Greg,
Assuming you're coming back into the centre I just use the 22 - quick and cheap. You get it by walking out of MMC, turn right, walk along the cycle path thing until you get to first railway bridge, cross the road, busstop on the left under the bridge, or follow the guided bus way thing to the first stop on that. Runs at least once every 10 min and brings you back in on the end of the west approach road where it turns left up Lothian road and then right onto Princes Street IIRC.
It's a doddle and quicker than waiting for a taxi or the old MMC shuttle bus.
Cheers,
Robin

Train from Edinburgh Park to Waverley £1.80
No 22 from Princes St to Sighthill £1.00
Service from MMC - priceless - for all those parts there is Mastercard
