Convertible Evora

Pics on TLF suggesting it may be launched at Geneva Motorshow. My decision not to go to Geneva may be reviewed.....

Seen that today, interested to see what t looks like. Although said two new models and there was an exige in the bacground, assume it's getting a power bump inline with the evora 400?

I think that it could be an Evora sport of some kind, because of the lightweight wheels and the yellow upgraded brake calipers.

Knowing Lotus the yellow paint IS the upgrade ;-) No doubt it's lightweight yellow paint (meaning it will flake off).

Lol.

In fairness to Lotus, our Evora has proven pretty robust. They still have a bit to learn on weatherproofing mind you :-/

There will come a time when a car finishes its lap before it starts.

Pretty sound now but had a biggie fixed just after I got it.

It has to live outside sadly, so is fairly fogged up in current conditions but TADTS.

But the rapid demist setting is ace and I get underway really quickly. A microfibre cloth is a handy accessory though ;-)

Might be worth getting one of those dehumidifier pouches to go in the car.

Just get better ones than I got for the Audi, two of them off eBay and as much use as a chocolate teapot.

As a test, I positioned one an inch away from the windscreen (that gets condensation overnight on these cold nights) and it just about managed to clear moisture from the bit that was an inch away - as the screen sloped away, no effect whatsoever.

At least they were cheap...

Same yellow car.

Stolen from TLF:http://www.thelotusforums.com/forums/to ... sport-410/

Evora 410

LIGHTENING STRIKES AGAIN!
Meet the new ‪#‎Evora‬ Sport 410...
> 0-60 mph in 3.9 secs and a top speed of 186 mph.
> 70 kg slashed from the weight of the Evora 400.
> Comprehensive carbon fibre package as standard.
> Increased power, reduced mass, sharper handling.
> Global production run limited to 150 vehicles per year.
Lotus’ famous Lightweight Laboratory has been hard at work cutting the weight of the Evora 400 by a massive 70kg. With a host of high-performance carbon fibre components as standard, and sharing the 410 hp supercharged engine with the track-bred 3-Eleven, the new Lotus Evora Sport 410 clocks 0-60mph in 3.9 seconds on its way to a top speed of 186mph.
The new ‪#‎Lotus‬ boasts 410 hp at 7000 rpm and 410 Nm of torque at 3500 rpm; with a kerb weight slashed to just 1,325 kg, the car provides an impressive 309 hp/tonne, and builds on the achievements of the excellent Evora 400.
‪#‎LightIsRight‬

Edit: Too slow. :D

Small boot leak on mine - fortunately I have a garage but complete pain on backside as I don't want to take it out if it's raining or might rain!
