LED side lights fitted on S1

Post by Cawdors1 » Wed Nov 11, 2015 9:27 am

Thought as my car is a daily driver, that some sort of side light upgrade was required.....the Lotus bulbs are, to say the least, poor. So got a pair of bright little led's off of Ebay, Look far better and I can now be seen!! Result. Bit of a wrist wrecker to fit mind.... :D

I must say, in 8 years of ownership, I don't think I've ever driven with just side lights on ;)

I just put the headlights on if need be.
Headlight wise, I have Osran nightbreaker bulbs in there. They are a little blue for my liking, but they do help, though in proper pitch black, you really need full beam / driving lights on regardless!

One thing you get used to in an Elise - headlights everywhere.

I'd be tempted with a LED light bar these days on a S1.
