Re: Honda'd S1's
Got an itch, and thinking of giving it a scratch. Thinking S1 and Evora !!!
Re: Honda'd S1's
Alan Gourlay is your best bet for info Graham as he has ordered from them when he was converting his own and Colin's car.
As far as I can tell from talking to them and seeing their Kermit green converted car, they do a good job. Think I saw it up for sale some time back.

Re: Honda'd S1's
The Kermit green demo car was bought by a customer of mine Tut and then had quite a lot of work done by me to put it right. It is now in France and has been supercharged I believe.
Stark Automotive is now owned and run by completely different people to those that started the company.
Looking at buying an already converted car using their kit (or any other DIY conversion) is a bit like buying a kit car. Every one must be looked at and taken on their own merit, as it very much depends on who built it and the individual spec chosen.

Also consider an early S2 SC if power is a criterion?

Re: Honda'd S1's
Had being looking at a N/A Honda'd Elise with 250 bhp. I suspect 420 bhp might be most more than my talent level could cope with...........think I'd need more than a few Walshy days to be able to make the most of that power............... looks magic.Scotty C wrote:You won't find a better one. Re: Honda'd S1's
Considering renting out N3 to Clarky, could not pass the V6's on the straight, so a yellow 420hp S1 Elise would probably do the trick.
Just let Verian spend a few £K tarting up the kitchen, so she would probably say yes. Ain't no good to me when I am 6' under.

Re: Honda'd S1's
A nice *cough* standard *cough* S1 and an Evora is what you want. None of this Honda nonsense... that'll just scare you again.
My S1 took plenty of V6 scalps on Frolic. Great wee cars and can't beat that feeling of flooring it everywhere on track like a proper racing driver. Doesn't have the power to get you into too much trouble.
And no... you can't have the Evora back.. yet.

If your car can spend less time broken in the pits, you'll stand a better chance of catching peopletut wrote:Considering renting out N3 to Clarky, could not pass the V6's on the straight, so a yellow 420hp S1 Elise would probably do the trick.

I'd fix what you have first.
We were sad not to see you behind the wheel of N3 once more. Arrived at KH before noon too.

ps:- tongue in cheek obviously, who would spend £5K tarting up a perfectly good kitchen.
