N3 Insurance

Post by tut » Mon Aug 17, 2015 10:57 am

Just rang Mary at REIS and they can not insure me as I had a break in my policy so do not insure over 70's.

Called Rich at A1 and he is working on it for me. Just hope that you do not see an N3 for sale advert in the near future.

I'm sure you'll get something sorted, perhaps get someone else to take out a policy with 'Any driver'?

We have Admiral Multicar for the CR-V and the Audi TT, but they would not look at a S/C Honda conversion.

Admiral baulked at just Nitrons on the Elise so the Honda would be way out! What are the other usual specialists saying?

For a mainstream company, I found Aviva very good and receptive to modifications (although not to the same extent as N3).

Hi David,

Thanks for getting back with the relevant details so soon. I have everything I need now and will soon be in with an outcome for you once Richard and I have done some referring to specialist insurers for you. when is generally the best times to call you sir?

Kind Regards,
Jake.

Jake is only 18, works for Rich, and wanted to join the Royal Marines, so he had heard something of my history.

Good Morning David,

What an amazing story to be able to tell, witnessed from first hand.
After reading that article I completely agree that they deserve their VC's. They really were the magnificent 9. The famous embassy story has nothing on it.
I'm most definitely not bored, I would and could listen to your stories and experiences all day long! Well and truly eye opening. It makes todays modern forces seem like cadets with the technology and weaponry they have!

it's incredible that I have been given an opportunity to speak to someone like yourself with such an inspiring history. Also to be able tell it after the odds have been so strongly against you makes it so much more meaningful!

Gentlemen like yourself and your brothers in arms deserve so much more recognition and appreciation than what has been given.

Did the nickname 'Tut' originate from the forces by any chance?

The details for the claim have been forwarded over, it’s just a matter of getting a price confirmed for you now.

Once again thanks for your time! Perhaps you should write a book, I'd most definitely be the first to read it.

Have a great day.
Regards,
Jake.

Jake from 1Answer just called to tell me that after several failed attempts, they have finally managed to get me cover. I knew it was going to cost me if I got it at all, but there are no penalties, five days Track cover in Europe and agreed Insurance value cover for £1,600 which will come down a lot in successive years if I keep a clean nose.

Can not recommend Rich and Jake enough, they were in contact almost every day keeping me updated even with the bad news, and had to pull in favours to get me cover at all. Always worth contacting when renewal is due, they may not be cheaper but worth checking on.
