S2 Rear Diffuser - painting black

Post by Dark » Tue Jun 16, 2015 7:59 am

Any recommendations for getting the rear diffuser painted or powder coated?

From talking to Craig@MMC he said the best option is a new one but these cost about £200 for after market (usually extended type) or £300 from Lotus.

Thanks.

Most of wheel refurb companies or powder coating specaists will probably be able to sort it - probably around £50 (?)
I guess you just need someone local to you that comes recommended?

Read somewhere recently that someone used matt black paint and heat shrink edging from an electrical supplier for the black edge finish that sounded fairly easy to do and cost effective. Looked good when complete. 8)

Halfords or B&Q - 2 tins of Black smoothrite in matt black
and order up the rubber edging from MMC
cost you less than £50 all in
Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'
