What company car do you think i should pick?

Me neither but then I wouldn't care if it was a better driver's car or not. I have an Elise in my garage and Ross intends to get one soon. I drive a 1.25 Fiesta daily and I don't really need anything else. If I want a fun drive, I go to my garage and take the Elise out.

Agree the BeeM 3 & Gowf will be better to drive, but not better to OWN - and that is a major difference

Gti, quicker than the rest although the A3 would have bucket loads of torque.

I discounted the beemer because of its RWD layout. He wont need a fun car if he has the Elise and you want it to be capable in all weather conditions, which the Audi will. The GTi will be next best but the beemers would be rubbish in snow and ice.

depreciation is actually a factor taken into consideration in the lease costs so the mondeos and vectras are in the same list as the BMWs and Audis.

The tax is the one to look out for also - based on CO2 emissions and P11d value

most petrol models are out of the question!

just done a tax calculator on an exige - it would cost me £345 per month on tax alone!

All subject to approval from boss. Not too keen on the Golf GTI unless it had full leather - the cloth seats are horrible.

I'd pick the Golf GTi as the DSG gearbox is something different and a lot of fun to use. I like the standard cloth though - reminds me of the mk2 GTi!

Id expect that the A3 will be less thirsty than the GTI as I need to shell out on fuel

I'd estimate the A3 should be about 40-45 in normal driving, and the GTi about 25-35. Quite a difference but how many miles do you drive?

i used to get 40-45 spirited driving and 50-55 with a more relaxed pace with my old PD150 golf. It was great as i could go on runs with a full tank and never have to fill up!

now its every 180 miles!

i had presumed you would of had a fuel card, therefore id go with the audi!
