Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 are an excellent road tyre, much better than the outdated T1-R and the same price, only issue is they don't have the 195/50/16 front, so a 205/45/16 is the closest available. I haven't had them on long enough to give a full review of life span, but they are a surprisingly grippy tyre in all conditions given their 280 wear rating.

Try Oponeo for them.

So I fitted the latest Elise parts gear cables to the car today, they pretty much fit straight on but needed a little fettling which needed some holes in the cable ends threaded a little deeper than they were out of the box . . . If you need to do a cable change, take the handbrake out, there are posts online of various monkeys trying to get the cable out without removing the handbrake - and unsurprisingly it wasn't easy . . . I suppose if they wanted to make it even more difficult they could have found a way . . .

Fitted the Elise shop ones last week, can't see why you'd ever not take the handbrake off, it's only 2 bolts and an R clip.

I'd have thought the same, but the bolts on mine where rusty and seized, I took it off and immediately ordered another one from elise shop. 5 weeks later, still don't have it, on back order with Lotus, that's 1 reason :blackeye

Another hand brake or bolts? Could have turned down a standard bolt to the right size if it's that. My cables took weeks to arrive from elise shop as well.

Another hand brake cable, I mean the adjuster bolt on the cable itself
