Knockhill Cycle Event
Re: Knockhill Cycle Event
I could seriously be tempted
Team of 6 - this year?
I'm not sure that all of this is true....
The taster session is something that has, in the past been very popular for participants to come along and get a feel for the excellent cycling conditions that Knockhill has to offer. We will confirm a date later in the year.

Pit straight got to be a long drag. Nicer in reverse?
Is Duffus a challenge on a bike or easy flat?

Re: Knockhill Cycle Event
A team of six should not bee too difficult - a couple of two hour stints each.
I quite like the appeal of doing it solo for 24 hours. Would need to do a bit of training first though...
...okay quite a bit of training,.. okay, a hell of a lot of training!

Was thinking that the climb from the hairpin would get quite tedious....alicrozier wrote:Pit straight got to be a long drag. Nicer in reverse?

Re: Knockhill Cycle Event
Round and round Knockhill for 24hrs doesn't sound much like fun.
I'm swimming Loch Lomond the next day so unfortunately can't make this

Re: Knockhill Cycle Event
What about having a team of 24, bbq, few beers and two 30minute sessions each.
Lucky dip for when your time slots are would make it interesting too. Just as long as I am not on first and last.
A tandem would add to the fun factor too
Steve.
