Koh Samui

Post by tut » Fri Apr 10, 2015 8:28 am

Arrived at the Villa at 1100, cracked open some bubbly, four of us now in the pool and the boys have shot off on their Honda 250CX Motocross bikes to explore. What are the chances of them coming back in one piece? Good news is that I can ride them as you do not need a licence or Insurance, and it is a hell of a steep road upto the Villa.

Which is fantastic, really lucked in, massive place and beautifully fitted out, we have Joy and Za who live in next door and look after us and cook Thai meals when ever we want them, and the location on the side of the hill gives views right across the Ocean and a good breeze as well, so only need AC in the bedrooms at night.

Long flights though, and the distance between landing and checking in again has become ridiculous, reckon nearly two miles in one instance. However checked in disabled, so there was a golf buggy to meet us which Verian could use as well, so straight through passports and security via the fast lane. Soft talked the Hostie and got an upgrade to Business Class from Manchester to Bankok, much more civilised and made a big difference.

Will post some pics tomorrow.

Sounds fantastic, Tut! Haven't had a holiday for a few years now, and starting to feel the need. You're not helping. ;)

Where are you on the island? We were in Bophut at the fishermans village in October; really nice. Mind and get plenty of massages whilst you are there
