Tesco 99 is. That's what I've used for years now. I like it.tenkfeet wrote:Its not super unleaded.robin wrote:Why not? What do you think is so different about Asda's petrol to the Shell next door?

RobinI have succumbed to the marketing and put the branded petrol in. Anything that may gives an element of protection to the engine at maxy trundge gets a tick in my book.
The issues with shell nitro put me off a bit.

Re: Petrol Prices
I use C/H oil at 47p/Lt. as the Honda will run on anything.

Re: Petrol Prices
I use Asda fuel quite often, never had any issues.
Morrisons diesel on the other hand was causing all sorts of problems with our taxis- I ended up having to tell the drivers not to use it.

Re: Petrol Prices
My mechanic has reliably informed me to stay away from supermarket fuel, (esp diesel which can often have a higher biofuel content).

Low oil prices are rubbish, when the prices are high sub-con engineering is busy.

Though we have just goten overy busy again, assume annual budgets were maxed at the begging of the month now they have realised they are away to pass deadlines and see year end figures and pushing work through!
Re: Petrol Prices
I used to pay attention to the fuel we used. But since none of our cars have expensive tastes - we're talking Skoda, MINI, geriatric Elise remember - I just rock up to whatever's closest when I can bear the warning light nagging no longer
My current fave is Shell vpower because it allows me to buy limited edition Lego Ferrari models for £2 a shot.
