Popped along to Halfords and Argos today and ended up picking up the Nilfisk @ £99.99. Was tempted with the more expensive Nilfisk but it was not in stock. As the 748 & Spyder have not been washed in ages it kind of made my mind up that waiting was not an option.

Don't forget to look at the Karcher Refurb website - bought my last one there for £80 ish - about 1/2 price. Can't tell the difference from new.

Tempted by the C130 from here, though it does not have all the accessories of the C120.

Tut, don't be tempted to pay extra for more power if it's just for car washing.
I've only got the C110 and have never found it lacking power.

You'd never notice the difference so probably not worth the extra £35, especially if you can make use of the accessories that come with the cheaper one.

Just read that the Nilfisk is a product of Kew Scotty, which used to be the name on the building before it was called Grampian Powerclean.

However I put in an offer of £69 for that C120 which he accepted, so ordered that.

i had a karcher recently that lasted less than 6 months. prior to that i had a halfords one(think it was £300 reduced to £150) with an alloy pump. was spot on for years till i left it out in the frost and the pump housing split. my only complaint with it was that halfords dont do spare parts for them!

Another Nilfisk here, keep an eye on Screwfix if you have a store local, they often have Nilfisk with and/or without patio cleaner attachments on offer. Mine was 55 from them a couple of years, back, currently 70 quid:

The C110 4-5 X-tra is actually slightly cheaper at Maplin at the moment:

They also have a version with the patio cleaner for £60 which is probably a better deal if you have a use for the patio cleaner, though it's listed as "last few in stores" whatever that means..
