Glutton for punishment.
Then again, you will be in the comfort of a luxury car .

Come and join me at Crail for a whole weekends karting, that will sort your back out .

Andy,
You could drive my nice big comfy Transit down
& everyone could put their luggage in it.
and you can have some laps in my Exige ......

haha - thanks Stu - still not yet back driving yet.

David - transits are grim on long distances and I've heehaw desire to drive one. Drove to B-mingham and back in a day in my company one. Bloody awful. (but appreciate the Exige offer - though doubt my back would appreciate getting in and out.)

Its actually the sitting for the journey there and back that poses the biggest problem for me currently.

If I make it I'll be in the Rangie towing, or Gt3-ing. :thumbsup

Andy,

The sitting might be the challenge for back pain but the driving on track will he the actual risk. I am sure if you ask your consultant they will tell you under no circumstances should you be driving on track. Willing to be told I am talking bollocks ...

Cheers,
Robin

Discussed it with my physio in hopsital, and I've just asked the specialist thats been looking after me. Will let you know what they say. Have 3 friends coming along from London for this also.....

Wouldnt even think about doing it if I thought there would be any drop in my physical ability to react. Sitting for 3 hours to get there currently worries me more.

Get your friend to drive the transit and you can stand in the back for 3 hours.

Hope you make it Andy.

I've had my head down a bit recently and hadn't checked the thread. I'd like to come along for the curry in Thursday night too. :-)

No worries :)

I'll be calling on Wednesday to give them final numbers, so will sort it out then.
