After previous experience with them I said no way!
So their next alternative was Nationwide, on Maxwell St?
Anyone had any experience of these guys?

You are so right to say NO to A.C.
I don't know if anyone has used Mitchel Inglis (Porsche repair centre) in Glasgow for Lotuses, but repairs they did on my Clio 172 after the rally incident were fantastic. They appear to have a good repution in the trade too.

CSK_423 used mitchell inglis and had a list of issues (scratched interior, bits missing). I guess everywhere will have good and bad stories.

UPDATE - got a call to say the car would be ready today!
But they've said it would be minus the front grill (There's still a UK shortage!)
I take it it should be Ok - (and i'd have to be very unlucky to burst the radiator) to drive minus the grill?
Gaz - did you not have a similar issue?
I'll let you know how it goes - fingers crossed they haven't F*cked the repairs up!

Yup, as you can spit peas through the S2 grille...and the rad is mounted horizontally...
Grille just clips in really easily assuming the clips are fitted.
