NW camping

Post by KevD » Tue Sep 23, 2014 9:50 pm

sorry if this has been covered 100 times but...

Currently looks like we've both got long weekend off - chance to escape up north if weather holds.

Current plan thurs - glencoe /ballachulish. Red squirrel campsite or free camping on a bit we know. Could possibly switch to be A9 side.

Fri/Sat - looking to get up to the NW as havent been. Clachtol is now closed according to it's website. Shore campsite just up the road is open, any good? Alternatively Looking at Applecross, sands up at gairloch or two up by ullapool.

sun - somewhere halfway back to glasgow?

If Shore Campsite at Achmelvich, it's lovely. And will be deserted by now ;-)

No dogs accepted though - too many sheep nearby.

Achmelvich is our most popular Campaganza destination for SE. And Lochinver has the Larder for takeaway gourmet pies or great sit in meals.

Enjoy!
