Re: .
I thought it was all a bit of harmless banter when I read it before.
Looks like a sense of humour failure on the part of thread originator.

Re: .
Sorry for the delay with explanation on this - Bank Holiday weekend got in the road on my part.
This thread was modified by the original poster following a response they didn't like. Some mods did see the post in full and it's our opinion that there was nothing we would call offensive posted at any stage, but the OP deleted his postings and graeme did also, without any correspondence with the mods.
Members are free to modify their own posts if they feel they have second thoughts about postings, but the mods will only delete threads with a valid cause such as offensive content, spamming - generally, posts outwith the guidelines. We won't delete a post where we feel there's no cause, simply on the request of the original poster - due to posts on SE often drifting, it would not be fair on other members to have their posts deleted.
Clearly, in this instance, the thread was going in a direction the original poster was not keen on and he was free to remove his postings on the matter. Graeme, it seems purely out of respect for the OP's wishes, also removed his postings. We're going to lock it, just because dragging out supposition gains nothing and the post is a mess.
In short, move along, nothing to see here
